Project Manager
I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in the concentrations of Painting and Sculpture in 2006 from The University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning. Following my undergraduate degree, I worked as the Gallery Coordinator of the ArtWorks Time Warner Cable Gallery in 2006. In 2007, The University of Cincinnati Foundation hired me as an event producer and graphic designer.
Service Designer
As of September 2009, I returned to school to pursue my Master of Fine Arts at The Ohio State University in design development. Currently, I'm taking classes and teaching courses in the Design Department. My research interests are in user-centered design, usability, information architecture, design management, service design, interaction design and design process. Now in my third and final year of graduate school I am preparing to write my thesis surrounding concepts of designing services for non-profit, academic organizations such as the Council of Graduate Students, of which I sit as the 2011-2012 Vice President. In 2012, I expect to graduate in the spring from OSU.
Interaction Designer
On the other end of the spectrum, my personal interests are in collaborating on projects, surfing the internet, watching movies, and reading in my spare time. For more information or to contact, continue to check out I Look Good In Design, the website and blog at www.allenjcochran.com.
